Went out to a duplex pump station to replace an E1 pump with a Crane pump.

One of the manufacturers we rep, Smith & Loveless, create robust pumps, wastewater packaged systems and more. We recently visited a site with a pump that's been running for 60+ years and still going strong.

Shown is the process of an old VFD replacement with a new Siemens G120X VFD for a pump.

While in Kansas City visiting Smith and Loveless, we got to see their above ground pump station. Converting from submersible pumps to above ground extends the lives of pumps by 3-5x, while making adjusting and maintaining the pump more accessible.

We recently visited one of our partners, Smith and Loveless, in Kansas City. There, they demonstrated a pump breakdown and provided us with insight on their pumps and equipment.

The images show a SHADE AIDE® made by Smith and Loveless that we installed onto a HMI. This system acts to protect HMI’s from the sun’s rays which damage HMI’s overtime. When expanded from its compact form, it provides shade and acts as a cover that allows users to interact with the HMI in any and all weather conditions.

This is an AST PolyGeyser® Bead Filter. Its application is aquaponic wastewater. The media within the PolyGeyser works to reduce turbidity levels by capturing suspended solids - which produces clearer water. The beads act as a substrate for microorganisms to latch onto, removing ammonia and organic matter.

Recently troubleshot this pump that was clogged with long stringy rags.
